While I understand why Rosie O'Donnell left The View , I will miss her.  In an age with non-stop news and info-tainment, it's difficult to find an outlet where truth was being told.  Rosie brought truth to The View.  A report recently indicated that Americans are turning to old friends for more hard news.

Why?  Because we trust these people.  Both Rosie & David Letterman bring an "honest" quality to television which is now missing form the national news.  Dan Rather was the end of an era.  Dan Rather called WTC7's controlled demolition exactly as he saw it, and was later, forced out of CBS.

Norman Minetta's testimony before the 9/11 Commission , which proves Cheney knew, and the military HAD STAND-DOWN orders on 9/11.  Why was it omitted from the 9/11 Commission Report?

America knows our news outlets are no longer reporting news, but corporate propaganda.  We all know what's being sold to us doesn't add up.  That's why, when someone like Rosie O'Donnell starts speaking her mind, our minds, we listen, and those with something to lose are FURIOUS!.  How dare Americans dissent!  It is our constitutional RESPONSIBILITY to dissent when criminals are creating harm to our country.  So why the RUSH TO WAR?

Historically, it seems anytime the automobiles in this country get big, we're at war over oil.  Car makers seem to be in on it in some degree.  Rosie says it's a Rich White Guy's club, and well, I agree.

Fox News is NOT THE NEWS!  It's clear that Fox wants to tell us all what we should think. Fox seems to believe Americans are  too stupid to think for themselves.  I have turned off Fox News.  I barely watch The Simpsons & Family Guy anymore, two shows I loved.  Rupert Murdoch should be considered one of the most dangerous men in America.  Fox News owns MySpace.com, is buying Photobucket.com, and will continue to gobble up online entities until it has enough information on EVERY US citizen to provide a republican government lists of "criminals".  Visit Google Video and search for the enlightening documentary: Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism!  

Myspace.com just agreed to hand over sexual predator information to state officials, "the witch-hunts begin", and no one seems to be too alarmed.  Remember, Fox News owns MySpace.  Murdoch has attempted to purchase the New York Times so he could silence another outlet of truth. 

I'm reminded of a speech I heard HIV/AIDS Activist, Mary Fisher , give to the Republican National Convention in '92.  "They came for the Jews, and I was not a Jew, so I did not protest.  Then they came for the trade unionists, and I was not a trade unionist, and I did not protest.  Then they came for me, and there was noone left to protest."  I paraphrased that so it may not be exact, but the message is intact.  WHERE ARE THE PROTESTS?  WHERE IS DEMOCRACY? Why doesn't someone do SOMETHING?  ANYTHING?  DEMAND IMPEACHMENT!

Bush recently called 240,000 deaths in Darfur, Genocide.  So what does that make 655,000 dead Iraqis?  I would call it "EXTERMINATION".  We have sent our troops into harms way for money and OIL!  How is it history will remember the US any different than we remember Nazi Germany and it's extermination?  Why are Americans so committed to HATRED of others? 

With electronic voting, we cannot be sure our votes count.  With electronic voting, "we the people" do not have the power.  The people that count the votes have the power.  And why does Electronic Voting machine software remain so secretive?  I mean, what's the big secret about tallying votes?  It's not rocket science.  Does your program count votes backwards maybe?  

We the people know, we know that we can no longer trust the media.  We know you're not telling us what you know.  We know the media is a puppet to a dictatorship being run by an inept leader.   

So, even though Rosie O'Donnell won't be returning to The View, neither will I as an audience member.  There is no longer a voice I trust on The View.  Rosie made a difference.  She got us talking.  She asked thoughtful questions, ones the Administration doesn't want answered.  THANK YOU RO!  Thank you for your "R Blog ", I read/watch it daily.  Who knew you would be a voice of political reason?

GET OUR TROOPS HOME! REPEAL THE PATRIOT ACT! There is nothing patriotic about it. It's designed to CONTROL the people, and to ANSWER TO NO ONE.  That is not democracy.  

WAKE UP AMERICA, OR THEY WILL BE COMING FOR YOU!

I could go on and on and on, but mostly, I wanna say:  THANK YOU RO!  THANK YOU FOR WAKING ME UP!
