An American in Paris
Written by Jeffrey Cleary

Dining at Le Gai MoulinIt was a fantastic evening in Paris. Our original plans were to meet a friend of Jeff's for dinner and drinks, however the friend had mistakenly made plans with us on the same night he had Opera tickets, so we wound up being on our own without dinner reservations on a Saturday night.

So, we made the best of it. We found a very charming restaurant, Le Gai Moulin in the Marais, where we found ourselves seated next to an American from Austin Texas and his friend from Holland.  "Bonjour Edgar and Richard, I know you're reading this!"

The four of us proceeded to head out on the town together.  We hit three Paris clubs before we settled into one in the Marais.  Yes, it snowed briefly as well.  It was a late night, back to the hotel around 6:00am, which seems to be the regular time everyone stays out until.  Many of the Paris clubs are open until 7:00 AM.

So, we ran into another American in Paris and painted the town together.

Shortly before heading out on the town:

Liquored UP in Paris
After an all-nighter, we head back to the hotel.
